Dear HIP Partners and Community,

 

As we unveil this 2022 Annual Report, 我们看到越来越多的人从概念上和法律上支持个人选择最适合他们的医疗保健的权利, following grave threats to this right. Simultaneously, 我们看到越来越多的公务员反映了我们社区的丰富多样性. These leaders marshal their race/ethnicity, gender and/or gender identity, ability status, other significant identity markers, 以及生活经验来推动制度变革,以纠正长期存在的不平等. I feel this same dynamic from HIP’s team.

Hepatitis C Care Cascade Network

Our Goal

To build a network of providers to share best practices, hepatitis C virus (HCV) updates, and opportunities to improve HVC screening, testing, treatment, 并通过定期召开会议和支持圣克鲁斯县的HVC冠军与护理联系起来.

In early 2021, 圣克鲁斯县卫生服务局委托HIP对丙肝病毒疾病的认识情况进行调查, screening, and treatment in Santa Cruz County. Our findings included: 

  • Lack of standardized screening

  • Ample HCV data gaps

  • Need for linkage to care

2022 Accomplishments:
 

In the Summer of 2022, HIP和圣克鲁斯县公共卫生司成功地为HCV提供者提供了培训 44 HCV treating providers and clinical staff.

Streamlining Families’ Access to WIC
